A bug fix release, version 2.2.1, of the KDE audio player and collection manager Amarok has been released. Changes:

  • Auto-updating of podcasts whenever there is a connection
  • Grouping of podcasts
  • Improvements to playlist system
  • Faster collection scanning
  • New updater for Amarok's scripts
  • Bug fixes

Qt 4.6 and Qt Creator 1.3 Release Candidates Available — Qt - A cross-platform application and UI framework

Nokia have issued release candidates of version 4.6 of Qt, their cross-platform C++ development toolkit, and of version 1.3 of Qt Creator, the integrated development environment (IDE) for Qt.
