Version 4.4.2 of the KDE Software Compilation has been released. This is a bug-fix release; the fixes include six crashes (details here). Full announcement here, source downloads with links to binaries on the info page.

The fifth edition of Mastering CMake, the official (and to my knowledge, the only) book on building projects with CMake, the build system used in KDE and a number of other Qt projects, has been released (ISBN-13: 978-1-930934-22-1). The book is available through Amazon or through Kitware itself. There is about a page of coverage specific to Qt.
